Clay angels are a broad topic, as are all handmade angels. We are happy to surround ourselves with them, we like hanging angels, we hang them on the walls, we choose in various shops with angels, galleries, handicraft fairs, those that appeal to us in a special way. We often wonder where to buy figurines, one or the other. We discover small unknown ceramic workshops, shops of artists and craftsmen. Such a small underground world standing in opposition and unequal struggle with commerce, big business and large shopping malls. Sometimes we are tempted and we wonder: hmm clay angels how to make? Then we are looking for workshops, ceramics courses, films... and so sometimes we see how a new manufacturer of ceramic figurines is created in front of our eyes :) Usually people who make ceramics are sensitive people, sensitive to beauty, appreciating nature. Working with clay definitely has therapeutic and calming properties. And this peace is brought to our homes by clay angels, the angel itself, a symbol of care, clay taken from mother earth and manual work. All this together and the fire needed for firing, make up the energy that another ceramic figure brings to our home. Today, when everything is available, and we actually have a culture of excess, it is worth considering whether we want something plastic at home, which is generally available, cheap. Do we want to surround ourselves with the so-called handmade, when buying a Christmas gift for mom, do you want to give her something special like herself? Or something common?
